Well right this way your character will be attending Tohsaka Academy.
Tohsaka Academy was once known as Homurahara Academy but with the influx of magi popping up the Tohsaka family had decided to secure this school as their workshop. The bounded field around the school gives makes everyone outside see a normal school in the case someone should blow up a class room. Tohsaka Rin is the principle of the school and oversees many of the magi's studies. The school gets donations from families to organizations like the Clock Tower and Atlus to keep all their resources up to date.
Ever since the flow of mana coming from the grail more common people have been born with Magic Circuits the amount of prana they can handle has dramatically increased as well. An average magus can now reach the maximum output of 200 units of prana. Of course it is impossible for someone to be able to handle that much prana without formal training so sealing spells are put in place so you'll have 20 units of prana when you start your training so even if you put to much energy into a spell it won't do too much damage.
This is the standard uniform for Tohsaka Academy. However, as students make their way up their way up to becoming more talented mages they may wear different colored blazers, ties or even the entire uniform's color to match the color of their rank. The ranking system after the default uniform goes black, green, purple, orange, yellow, blue, and finally red.
While the school prioritizes your spell casting abilities and keeping the common folk from knowing about the magical side of the school. The school also teaches you everything a regular high school student needs to know. Tohsaka-sensei expects you to pass your math, history, science and any other classes you take since they are also important, after all you never know what may inspire or help you use your magic abilities. Tohsaka-sensei is very strict if she finds you failing a class or barely getting by she'll make sure you are banned from attending any magical classes so make sure to keep your grades up. Though she won't admit it she is actually doing this for all of you since she knows not even half of the new magi are going to make it in the magic department but she'll never admit it.
This school sends out invitations but you still must pass a test. The test is for this school as a starter mage you must have one ability that spends a low amount of prana example Reinforcement costs roughly 2 units of prana. Of course abilities and how much a user expends for an ability vary from person to person.
